Felix practices primarily in tax litigation at all stages of the dispute process, including CRA audits, objections, and appeals to Tax Court. He has represented clients in a variety of matters including personal and corporate income tax, GST/HST, residency determinations, and housing rebate matters. In addition, Felix assists with voluntary disclosure and taxpayer relief applications for penalty and interest relief with the CRA.
Felix attended the University of Western Ontario, earning his law degree in conjunction with a business degree from the Ivey Business School. Prior to working in the legal industry, Felix worked as a specialist in operations in the telecommunications industry, learning how to optimize processes, workflows, and deliver efficient and effective results to clients. Felix’s current practice blends this knowledge in understanding client businesses, assisting them throughout their dispute, and negotiating in an organized approach with CRA and opposing counsel.
Felix articled with Farber Tax and is proud to return as of July 2019 as an associate to the firm.
